About

My mantra in life is to tell stories (big and small) that help people embrace the unknown with curiosity. I do this through the usual skillset of writing, editing, SEO, analytics, and more. But my real expertise is the ability to find a narrative thread that connects your brand, audience, or experiences in an authentic and engaging way. I can help you reach new readers and users, even ones who are feeling a bit (or very) indifferent. I can also re-energize your fans to become super-fans.

I’ve been doing this for a long time. I created my first zine in elementary school—the first time I referred to myself as an “editor” on paper. When I was an intern at NBCUniversal, I pitched a concept for Kraft’s new website and it was approved by executives and later launched. I was given a prize of one brownie, and nothing had ever tasted so sweet.

In terms of more formal training, I graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, then built a career in digital content, marketing, and editorial for the past decade. In that time, I’ve worked with a diverse array of companies and verticals. I have cut my teeth at agencies, media corporations, as well as startups and a nonprofit; I can flex across topics from design to business to healthcare.
